In the past week I’ve been working on refreshing the look of the Kolab Administration Panel. The user interface hasn’t been touched since it was created. Even though the webmail frontend has a few themes including the fresh Elastic skin. It was really needed.
Using Bootstrap Framework, Roboto font and FontAwesome icons (technology used in Elastic) I was able to quickly create a decent theme. Colors and logos are now “in sync” with Kolab’s webmail client.

Some colors are from the old skin, some are Bootstrap’s defaults, so there will be some polishing needed. It shouldn’t be also hard to provide support for tablets and mobile. Moving the menu to the left side (as in Elastic) could also be considered. So, stay tuned.
